The pomegranate is a symbol of love and fertility in the East.
In Greek mythology, the first pomegranate was planted by Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, and the god of hell, Hades, offered this fruit to Persephone with the idea of seducing her.
The pomegranate fruit has been symbolically representing the city of Granada since time immemorial. The versions that have developed of the fruit are infinite and this symbolism adorns the city in many corners. Our collection is a personal revision of the symbol and a modest tribute to tradition.
