In Greek mythology, the first pomegranate was planted by Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, and the god of hell, Hades, offered this fruit to Persephone with the idea of seducing her.
The pomegranate fruit has symbolically represented our city, Granada, in Andalusia, Spain, since time immemorial. There are countless versions of the fruit that have been developed and this symbolism adorns the city in many corners. Our collection represents a personal revision of the symbol and a modest homage to tradition. In it we combine the outer contour of the fruit with some of the most representative geometries that adorn the walls of the Alhambra on the inside.

As a general recommendation, it would be ideal to store the jewelry in the original box that you will receive with your order, since its chemical composition guarantees the preservation of your jewelry against external agents such as humidity and this will make it always look like new.
At PLATÓNICA, most of our collections have a matte finish that can be restored on silver pieces with a silver cleaning liquid sold in drugstores. In the case of gold-plated silver jewelry, rather than cleaning, we could talk about precautions in use. Our gold-plated silver pieces contain a three-micron 18-carat gold plating, which makes them durable and does not require special maintenance. However, all products that contain alcohol attack the gold plating and can shorten its durability, so we recommend taking special care with colognes, creams and soaps.
