HANDMADE JEWELRY AND THE RELATIONSHIP WITH ITS AUTHOR

Una handmade jewel it is an object whose value goes beyond the material. A unique and special piece that contains part of the essence of its creator. To speak of handmade jewelry is to speak of something more than precious metals; Its value lies in the authenticity, in its design, in the manufacturing process and in the artist's desire to capture part of his soul in a handmade jewel.

THE ARTIST AND HIS WORK

It is difficult to describe in a univocal way the process that leads to the creation of a work, since it is not always the same. The artist tries to capture his experiences, his cultural references, his emotions and his environment in different material supports. In our case, that support is fundamentally metal. Always, when we think about the message we want to convey, we keep in mind that it will be materialized in metal, in a piece that will accompany whoever chooses it in their daily life and in the most special moments. Those are the two fundamental premises throughout the creative process, from the moment we have the idea, we draw it, we manufacture it, we name it and we present it to you. Because one of the most important moments of our work is sharing it.

In that pairing between work and artist that occurs in artisan jewelry, as in any act of artistic creation, a third fundamental element comes into play: the receiver. In the same way that there is a link between the jewel and the artist, when acquiring a designer jewel, it establishes a link between you and the artist.

When you acquire a jewel from PLATÓNICA you carry with you a part of that process of creation, of those experiences, of those hands that shaped it.
